Merry Christmas MATT!

Colleen thinks that giving decorative deer heads is the finest means of both displaying one's superior foamcore posterboard craftsmanship and also officially welcoming a new cousin into the family.

On Dan Brown's new novel, The Lost Symbol

Langdon is a good name. Unfortunately I already decided to name my unborn son Earnest.

Wait. Can you make his first name be 'the importance of' and his middle name be Earnest?

No. Maybe his middle name can be 'the importance of'.

Well then can you make his last name 'of being'?

Only if you find me a husband whose last name is 'of being'. And also you repeated 'of'.

Can you ask the computer if bugs sleep?

Colleen has a question for the internet. She wonders aloud, do bugs sleep? So we looked it up and found this informative snippet of information.

Insects clearly rest at times, and are aroused only by strong stimuli – the heat of day, the darkness of night, or perhaps a sudden attack by a predator. This state of deep rest is called torpor, and is the closest behavior to true sleep that bugs exhibit.

Colleen thinks the large beetle thing on our curtain is experiencing a state of torpor.
